Professor Ram Ramanathan has been invited as a Keynote Speaker at the Global Conference on Manufacture and Industrial Engineering (GCMIE-2021) which will be held during September 13-15, 2021 in Brussels, Belgium (https://www.pagesconferences.com/industrial-engineering/).
The conference theme is “Breakthrough to excellence in the field of Industrial Engineering”.
At this conference, Ram will present the REAMIT project, its approach and technology to help reduce food waste. Industrial Engineering involves optimisation of complex systems to improve efficiencies. The REAMIT project fits into this theme well because of its focus on improving resource efficiency (via reducing waste) in complex agribusiness supply chains. Presenting REAMIT at this conference will be an excellent opportunity to reach new stakeholders in Belgium, other North West Europe countries, and countries from beyond Europe, who are also involved in reducing food waste
