SUMMARY:Modelisation and AI in Science and Technology event
DESCRIPTION:Modelisation and AI in Science and Technology event held in Nantes\, France on 5 June\, 2023 \n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe are thrilled to share exciting news from the University of Nantes (UoN) regarding their recent participation in the Colloquium on Modelisation and AI in Science and Technology that was held in Nantes on 5 June 2023. UoN’s team presented groundbreaking research results from their REAMIT project\, which focused on the Raman portable sensor and its remarkable effectiveness in improving the identification of food quality. Developed by UoN\, the Raman portable sensor utilizes spectroscopic analysis to rapidly assess the quality of food products by analyzing their unique molecular composition. The sensor plays a crucial role in linking food quality to food waste\, as it can identify the freshness of various food items. During the colloquium\, participants expressed great interest in UoN’s innovative approach and eagerly inquired about its applicability in the industry. Additionally\, they suggested several valuable recommendations to UoN\, emphasising the potential of machine learning in further refining the identification of food quality.
